I like this shoe because I can hose it off at the end of each day and they look like new again for the next day of work.I work in food service and found that regular shoes attracted a lot of dirt & grime.The grippers are great. A lot of people I read complained about how food gets stuck in them. This is true, but if you wash them off at the end of the day and hose out the bottom tread you’ll be fine (i do it in the dish room).I use Birkenstock blue insoles in them for added arch support.I really like having the extra "cush", as I work on a concrete surface for long periods at a time.Other complained that they were too narrow, I didn’t have this problem, but I do have narrow feet.
